Mathematica by Wolfram Research is a comprehensive computational software designed for numerical, symbolic, and graphical computing and is typically used by students, educators, and professionals in engineering and scientific research at Illinois State University. Mathematica is most often used for mathematical computation, and offers a large library of functions for mathematical domains and data visualization tools useful in data analysis and presentation.

Access may be gained by going to https://www.wolfram.com/siteinfo to register using an @ilstu.edu account. The request will be automatically approved. Registered users may access Mathematica through the general use virtual computer lab at Remote.IllinoisState.edu as well.
