Instructors at Illinois State University (ISU) may wish to use IP Filtering in Canvas in order to restrict access to a particular quiz to a designated IP address only. The purpose would be to only allow students in a particular physical location to be able to access and complete the quiz.

Is IP Filtering Enabled in Canvas at Illinois State?

Currently, IP Filtering for Canvas is not supported at Illinois State University.

In-person attendance is currently the only way to verify who took a quiz from a designated physical location.
