Learning Tool Integrations (LTIs) may be added to Canvas courses, but they must first be vetted and approved to ensure compliance with legal, accessibility, and budgetary considerations. This is a difference from the use of LTIs in ReggieNet, the previous LMS, where it was technically possible for instructors to add LTIs without passing through the compliance checks.
