Your Phone Services PIN gives you access to User Options, Settings, and other information on your VoIP phone.

Before You Begin

Your Phone Services PIN is used to access IP phone services, such as the personal address book and personal fast dials, on your VoIP phone.

Default Phone Services PIN and Logging In the First Time

By default, your Phone Services PIN is 0000. You must change your Phone Services PIN before you can use it to log in to the personal directory, or personal fast dials, on your VoIP phone.

Changing Your Phone Services PIN

To change your Phone Services PIN through the Cisco Unified Communications Self Care Portal, do the following:

1. Go to http://voip1.ilstu.edu/ and log in with your ULID and password.
   1a. If you receive a message about an Untrusted Certificate, click to proceed to the site anyway.
   1b. If you are off-campus, you must first connect through a VPN before you are able to access the Self Care Portal through the link above.

2. Select General Settings and locate the section entitled Phone Services PIN.
3. Enter a new Phone Services PIN in the field labeled New Phone PIN.
4. Re-enter the PIN in the field labeled Confirm New Phone PIN.
5. Select Save.

Your Phone Services PIN has been changed. You can now log in to the personal address book, and personal fast dials, on your VoIP phone.
