Student Accounts and Authorized Accounts

The Student Account Portal allows a student to make necessary payment obligations to Illinois State University, view their detailed Financial Information, and set up a payment schedule for their payments.  

Who Can access my Student Account Portal? 

 All Illinois State University students have access to their Student Account portal after they are accepted to Illinois State University along with any authorized user that they set up within their account.  

Can My Parents/Guardian Access My Student Payment Portal With My Permission? 

Yes, you can set up what is called an Authorized User account to allow your parent(s) or guardian to submit payments for you within your Student Portal Account.

What All Can I Do within my Student Account Portal? 

The Student Account portal has a few useful features that are listed below: 

Account Payment 

The account payment feature allows you to make your payment obligations to the university. Your payments are organized by semester and can be accessed at any time. 

Payment Plan 

You can make a one-time payment or set up a payment plan. Log into the account portal and click Payment Plans to set up your payment plan. 

Refunds 

If you receive Financial Aid, you will see your refund amounts in the Refunds section. You are required to enroll in a Two-Step Verification process before you can update a refund method.
