A unique four-digit code is created for each academic term in Campus Solutions. Although this term is displayed in Campus Solutions, it is not necessary to memorize how it is calculated. The corresponding academic semester and year will be displayed alongside the code. 

How to Create the Academic Term 

The format to create the academic term is 2BBC. 

1. 2 - Every academic term starts with a "2". The "2" comes from the first number of the academic year (ex: 2024).
2. BB - The next two numbers (represented by "BB) are the last two numbers of the second half of the academic school year. Or when the academic year ends. For example, the "BB" would be 24 for the 2023-2024 academic year.
3. C  - The last number (represented by "C") indicates if the academic term is during the fall, spring, or summer. These are the three numbers the "C" can be: 

• 2 = Fall
• 5  = Spring
• 8 = Summer 

Example: 

• 2242 – Fall term of the 2023-2024 academic year
• 2245 – Spring term of the 2023-2024 academic year
• 2248 – Summer term of the 2023-2024 academic year

When the magnifying glass (Search) icon is selected in Campus Solutions, a window with many academic terms will appear. Because of this feature, it is not necessary to memorize how to calculate the academic term code. This window will display the term code and the corresponding semester and academic year.
