Training Resources & Procedures

The University's contracts with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) require select University employees to complete the E-Commerce Training and PCI Signature Form annually and upon hire.
The following Employees must complete the training material offered below:
- Employees who handle cardholder data as part of their job, including but not limited to
- Credit/debit cards
- Credit card numbers
- Employees involved in the processing of payment cards
- Employees who deal with security events and incident response
- Employees who administer the University payment card environment
Employees using a departmental credit card without meeting the criteria above do not need to take the annual training.
Notifications
Each department is responsible for ensuring all employees (Including student workers) who handle credit cards take the PCI training annually. The PCI training is required even though employees will not receive any notification or email regarding the PCI training.
