Handling Phishing Email Reports

The Illinois State University Technology Support Center (TSC) receives phishing attempts and reports of phishing attempts received by students, faculty, and staff. 
 Phishing attempts that meet specific criteria may be posted to the Tech Alerts website (alerts.ilstu.edu) by an IC Coordinator to warn campus users.
 When the TSC receives a phishing attempt or a report of a phishing attempt, the TSC full-time employee handling the issue will need to evaluate the phishing attempt to determine how it should be handled.
