Students who are flagged as being graded at midterm, can access their grades within My.IllinoisState.edu. The following article provides background of midterm grades and how to view midterm grades in MY.

Before you Begin

Midterm and progress report grades are collected for selected populations per Academic Senate policy. Midterm grades are only collected for select populations of students based on outside reporting requirements and/or retention efforts.

To comply with federal financial aid guidelines as well as to address the need for certification for outside agencies (e.g. the US Department of Education, the National Collegiate Athletic Association and external grant agencies), Illinois State University is either required or has an academic need to gather information on selected students. Therefore, not all the students within a single course will be required to be graded at midterm.

To View Midterm Grades

Students can view their midterm grades by doing the following:

1. Log in to My.IllinoisState.edu.
2. Click the Academics tab.
3. Click Midterm / Progress Report Grades > View Grades.
